Demo Path
Step 1
Landing
Sabiq is a self-paced Arabic-of-the-Qur'an learning journey. Start here to see what it is.
→ Read the hero, then press ‘Start Today’ to enter the app.
Expect: Landing page renders with hero, path, and CTAs.
Signed in: Nothing new — landing is the same signed in.
Step 2
Start Today
Your student dashboard. The first mission and today's guidance live here.
→ Open the first Teaching Board card.
Expect: Today Hero, first mission, and support ladder previews render.
Signed in: Progress and streaks persist for signed-in users.
Step 3
Teach Me Mode
The Teaching Board is the anchor of Sabiq. The app teaches the lesson step-by-step.
→ Walk through the scenes; save the lesson to your Ledger at the end.
Expect: Teaching Board scenes render with Arabic + English.
Signed in: Signed-in users save the lesson to their Ledger.
Step 4
Vocabulary Review
Space-repetition review of Qur'anic vocabulary earned from lessons.
→ Rate a word to see SRS scheduling.
Expect: Vocabulary cards render with review controls.
Signed in: Signed-in users' reviews are persisted with SRS scheduling.
Step 5
Word Detail — بِـ
Every meaning-connector matters. See بِـ as it appears in بِسْمِ اللهِ.
→ Read the word detail; try ‘Ask Ustadh AI’.
Expect: Word detail page renders with root family and connections.
Signed in: Signed-in users can save the word.
Step 6
Ledger — Bismillah Ba
The Ledger is your mastery record — evidence of what you've learned.
→ Review the unlock and open related resources.
Expect: Unlock detail renders with mastery evidence.
Signed in: Signed-in users can persist and revisit unlocks.
Step 7
Arabic Input
Type Arabic from an English keyboard using the virtual keyboard, ḥarakāt toolbar, and transliteration helper.
→ Type ‘bismillah’ and press ‘Use Arabic’.
Expect: Transliteration suggestion appears; virtual keyboard and ḥarakāt toolbar work.
Signed in: Arabic input tools are also available in signed-in surfaces (Ustadh AI, Caravan, Ledger).
Step 8
Root Orrery
Sabiq turns Arabic roots into visual meaning constellations. The Root Orrery shows a root at the center with related words orbiting around it.
→ Explore the orrery for ر ح م and tap a word to see its meaning.
Expect: The root ر ح م appears at the center with الرَّحْمٰن, الرَّحِيم, and رَحْمَة connected around it.
Signed in: Nothing new — the orrery is a shared visual layer.
Step 9
Challenge — Meaning Connector
Sabiq reinforces Teaching Board lessons through short, focused games. Meaning Connector helps you see how بِـ connects meaning before you learn its grammar name.
→ Answer three short questions, then read the review.
Expect: Student answers a short game about بِـ, sees explanations, and lands on a result screen with next-step CTAs.
Signed in: Signed-in users' completion is logged as a challenge_completed learning event.
Step 10
Threshold Ceremony
Sabiq marks meaningful progress with calm ceremonial transitions — not noisy gamification. Preview how a threshold looks on completing a Teaching Board, saving a Ledger unlock, or finishing a Challenge.
→ Open a ceremony card and press ‘Preview threshold’.
Expect: A gold-gate or quiet-star threshold ceremony can be replayed without any backend write.
Signed in: Nothing new — thresholds are a shared visual layer.
Step 11
Phase Journey Map
Sabiq organizes the student's path through six phases — from الطَّالِب to الشَّاهِد. The Journey Map shows where you are and what supports you.
→ Scan the six phases. الطَّالِب is active; later phases are preview or locked.
Expect: The six phases appear, with الطَّالِب marked current and later phases as preview/locked.
Signed in: Nothing new — the journey map is a shared visual layer.
Step 12
Library Support
Curated self-study support around meaning-connectors like بِـ.
→ Read the resource; try ‘Save to Library’.
Expect: Library resource page renders with sections.
Signed in: Signed-in users save resources and track reading progress.
Step 13
Ustadh AI (Prepared Guidance)
Prepared answers from a scholarly library. Real AI generation is future work.
→ Read the prepared answer; open a suggested follow-up.
Expect: Ustadh AI panel renders with a prepared answer for بِـ.
Signed in: Signed-in users' sessions and messages persist.
Step 14
Caravan Question
Peer support — real learners ask real questions about the same lesson.
→ Read the question and replies.
Expect: Caravan question detail renders with replies.
Signed in: Signed-in users can reply and vote.
Step 15
Majlis — Beginner Ḥurūf al-Jarr
Structured study circles for peers walking the same path.
→ Read the Majlis detail; try ‘Join’.
Expect: Majlis detail renders with membership CTA.
Signed in: Signed-in users' memberships persist.
Step 16
Optional Tutor
Human tutors are optional support — never the anchor.
→ Preview availability; try booking.
Expect: Tutor profile page renders with booking placeholder.
Signed in: Signed-in users can create mock bookings.
Step 17
Readiness
Developer readiness — see what is real in the MVP and what remains future.
→ Scan the audit, launch checklist, and PWA readiness.
Expect: Readiness page renders all three panels.
Signed in: Signed-in users see their own progress signals.
Guest vs Signed-in
Guests can preview the entire app. Signed-in users save progress, Ledger, Library saves, bookings, Ustadh AI sessions, and recommendations.
Two Modes
The launcher in the corner tracks your position in the demo. You can hide or reset it anytime.
